items When your a parent, it really helps to get creative, you kind of have to. This is what my five year old and I do when we want to express our creativity. A ot of it is utilizing the materials and ingredients we already have around the house.

My five year old and I love making elaborate snack boards that we share together. Its a great way to be creative while having a lot of figuring out what ingredients we will use.
My five year old and I both love eating strawberry yogis for a snack. They are great to mix with other things on a snack board, like with popcorn!

I love getting the bag of paper scraps and the bottle of elmers out as much as my daughter does.

I aways save the left over paper from projects we do, so when its time for open play the table gets ready colorful.

To be honest this activity is mostly one I enjoy. Grownups need to express their creativity daily, just like kids do. Rocks are everywhere and if you have.a kid, there is a 90 percent chance you have crayola paints at the house. Go have fun.
