This is my top 1 recommendation. It's one of the most thought-provoking books I've read. It can be a bit slow at times, and a hard-read for beginners, but the psychological depth makes it well worth the effort. A true classic that stays with you long...

This is one of those books that looks simple at first but stays with you long after you finish it. It was one of the first books I read, and I was surprised by how much depth Orwell managed to pack into such a short story. It’s an easy read, but it l...

Big Brother is Watching You.
1984 should not be viewed merely as a work of literature or fiction, it is much more than that. It feels like a profound case study in sociology and political science, exploring power, control, surveillance, and the manipulation of truth. What surpri...

"As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect." This is one of the most unique and unsettling stories I've read.
The Metamorphosis may begin with an absurd and impossible event, but Kafka uses it to explore deeply human themes: isolation, identity, family, and the painful feeling of being valued only for what you can provide. What impressed me most is how such ...

Psychology of Crowds completely changed the way I think about mass movements, public opinion, and how people behave differently as part of a crowd than they do as individuals.
While many of his observations are still surprisingly relevant. I didn't agree with everything, but it gave me a new lens through which to understand history, politics, and even social media.

This is one of the most meaningful books I've read on self-discipline, resilience, and the way we approach life.
Meditations is not your typical traditional philosophy book, it is a collection of personal reflections from Marcus Aurelius, written as reminders to himself about virtue, responsibility, and staying calm in the face of difficulties.
What I found most valuable is how practical its lessons still feel after nearly two thousand years.
One quote that I think perfectly captures the essence of the book is: "You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."

Let me start by saying this:
The Castle demands patience. It can feel frustrating, and deliberately confusing at times. But this is Kafka at his best, turning that very sense of frustration and uncertainty into something deeply meaningful.

Having said that, the Castle is one of the most mysterious novels I've read. Kafka creates a world where the main character struggles to reach an authority that seems distant, unreachable, and impossible to understand.
Beneath its strange and fragmented story lies a deeper exploration of power, and the human desire for recognition and belonging.

What fascinated me most is how Kafka turns endless obstacles and uncertainty into a powerful reflection of the frustrations we experience when facing systems beyond our control. Again, It is not an easy read, but its ambiguity and complexity are exac...

If I wanted to summarize it in one sentence, I'd say: A Confession is, in essence, Tolstoy's personal journey in search of God, meaning, and the purpose of existence.

It is one of the most honest and profound books I've read about the struggle to understand why we live and what makes life worth pursuing.
In this short but deeply personal work, Tolstoy reflects on his own spiritual crisis, questioning success, knowledge, death, and the answers he had previously accepted.

This book may not be for everyone, but if you appreciate Tolstoy's work, I highly recommend giving this short but profound book a chance.
