I love walking her in the late Sppring as you can still find Lady Slipper flowers! Don't pick them though they are endangered. Lots of animals and birds to see at this old cranberry bog.
Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area
Both the kids and I loved the sanctuary worth a drive & the money
Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary
They always have the best vendors! A variety of vendors you'd typically and not so typically expect!

Parking is limited but you can park over at the Lobster Pound. No bathrooms just portapotty's. The beach is clean, busy, great for little dad it almost never has waves. Nice little jetty to walk, sit and watch the boats come in or fish off of.
Green Harbor, Massachusetts
Spring and Summer are my favorite times to walk this huge park. I love looking at the flowers, and taking pictures. The Swan Boats are cute for kids and kind of romantic for adults.
Boston Common
I loved taking my kids here each winter to skate. In the summer you can splash around. There's a little park. That's usually very busy next to the pond but a lot of fun.
The Boston Common Frog Pond
Not a ton of trails but a great place to picnic, fish, walk, and explore. There are a lot of birds here to watch. Each Spring baby geese are down by the water which is cute. Great place for outdoor photography.
Ames Nowell State Park
Not a very large or fenced in park, but my kids always enjoyed it. In the summer, the pool is open next-door. In the winter people I skate on the little pond.
Whitman Town Park
One of my favorite beaches growing up. This beach can be rocky at times and there is a huge hill. You have to climb to get to the actual beach, but they do have small bathrooms and changing areas with a cute little park. The snack shack is also a big...
Rexhame Beach
Only plan on going here at low tide, off season or off peak hours. This place is always hoping but at low tide it has great little tide pools. Great long beach to walk to look for shells and sea glass. Quite a few places to choose from for food. We a...
Nantasket Beach
Parking price is astronomical. The beach itself is pretty decent although it can have a lot of rocks some years. It is the absolute best place to body surf. Has a small but not overly priced snack shack as well as restaurant. They also have changing ...
Duxbury Beach Park
Restaurants
You may have to wait for this bar pizza, but it’s worth it. They also have a few things you can heat up and of course the world famous Greek salad.
Christo's to Go
I’ve been going here for over 30 years and the food is still pretty good. It’s a little on the expensive side, but worth it for real food with real ingredients. Big fan of the Supreme combo and of course the kids love chicken tenders and fries with t...
Supreme Pizza & Subs
Again this place is a little expensive and you may have to wait for your order but it’s all fresh. Love this place I’d eat there every night if I could
Thai All Seasons
It’s pretty hard to find decent Chinese food in the area after several of the fan faves have closed after to Covid. Omoto is pretty good. Although I’m not a fan of their spring rolls.
Omoto Garden
The flat breads are great, as is the pilgrim and chicken and avocado sandwich. Service is slow. Staff very friendly.

Other Food & Drinks
Probably on par with Starbucks but it's a local joint so I'm more apt to spend my money there. There are several locations, but Whitman is the closest to me. Parking is tight, but that's all right.
Restoration Coffee
I'm partial to women because it's convenient but they're all amazing. Homemade ice cream to die for.
Hornstra Farms
Arts & Entertainment
We’ve been there 1000 times and it’s always something new to see
Museum of Science
This is my favorite art museum outside of Washington DC. Not only is it absolutely stunning inside it has a crazy history & lots of unique artwork.
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Is 500 Cap venue is great see local bands as well as smaller national bands. They have free water that actually doesn’t taste like crap . The stage is really high so if you are at the front row, be prepared to have a neck ache. Also, there’s no barri...
The Sinclair
Sonia is what was formally known as TTs the Bears back in the 90/2000s. It’s a pretty cute little spot to see local bands and acoustic sets.
Sonia Live Music Venue

Clare has helped me with so many things from reiki, aromatherapy, sound healing and therapy sessions. This woman is Superwoman, she has an incredible knowledge base. If she doesn't know she'll do the research or find someone who does.
The Transformation Collective Studio - Facebook
I may be partial but they have the best readers; intuitives, mediums, & healers!
Uplifting Connections
You will not find a kinder, smarter, funnier holistic practitioner. Clare has a knowledge base unlike anyone I’ve ever known. She’s the smartest person I know.
