OMG this is the best breakfast & lunch place around! Not only is the food out of this world it’s fresh and unique!
Yaz's Table Brunch Restaurant
Love their breakfast options. It’s usually packed on the weekends so I hit it during school hours. Also love their banana coffee.
Cowbells Cafe
It was busy but quick! Thanksgiving sandwich was excellent.
Online Menu of The Alibi Tavern Restaurant, Whitman, …
Can’t beat their fresh seafood. They do have weird hours and kind of an attitude. But idc I love the fried clam strips.
Nautical Mile
I love Hingham and Whitman locations. The ice cream is homemade and tasty. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Whitman does have cows.
Hornstra Farms
They have several locations in Whitman, Hanson, East Bridgewater (maybe more.) The coffee is expensive but it’s great! Love the pastries as well.
Restoration Coffee
Love the ambiance & the food is great!
Holmestead Harvest
Stores
I may be biased but I think this is the best place to get a reading on the south shore. I also love the wellness options they have a scalar energy lounge, vitality booth, ionic foot baths, sound baths & frequency helpers! And classes!!
Uplifting Connections
I love the witchy vibes they have here! Great inexpensive places for crystals & books. Love the taxidermy.
CAST A STONE
This park is 14 acres and was designed by the Olmstead Brother who also designed Central Park in NYC. It’s a great place to walk, dogs are allowed and it has a nice unfenced playground.
Whitman Town Park
They make beautiful items from the roses of your friends and family’s wakes & funerals. They are caring, compassionate and reasonably priced.
Angel Rosebeads
If you have a Lego lover this is the place to go! They buy and sell here which is great for mom & dad’s wallet. They have pick a brick sections that are pretty inexpensive.
Boston Brick Company
Places
Great place to explore
Myles Standish State Forest
This place is very nostalgic for me as I spent a lot of time here in my teens just hanging out.
But it has some interesting history, great views of the ocean, and a cool place to explore.
Oh and this place is haunted! We’ve done some ghost huntin...
Fort Revere Park
This place is a mob scene once school is out. But it’s a great beach to walk at low tide *make sure it’s low tide! It’s good for kids to explore, looks for shells, sea glass, sea creatures, and swim. Definitely go off season or at off peak hours othe...
Nantasket Beach
You have to pay to park and it’s kind of expensive but it’s a phenomenal beach. It’s clean, usually has great waves to body surf. Has a small bathroom, snack shack and park.
Rexhame Beach
One of my favorite beaches on the south shore. It’s clean, low key, has bathrooms & a cute food shack. Expensive to park.
Duxbury Beach Park
My favorite place to walk though it does have a huge hill. It has cool views of the gut, Hingham and on a good day Boston. You do have to pay to park usually it’s $5.
World's End
This is also know as The Gut by locals. This is a great place to look at stars, fish, and get incredible views of Boston. Nice place to quietly sit and ponder or read.
Pemberton Point - MBTA
If you want to step back in time and explore a quaint New England village from 400 years ago … this is your place! Educational and fun.
Plimoth Patuxet Museums
Get to know the replica boat the Pilgrim’s came to America in. Cute little tour and you can bundle it with Plimouth Patuxet.
Mayflower II
Disappointing tourist for decades. Lol sorry to be snarky but it is what it is. Check it out, it’s free, and there are great restaurants near by.
Plymouth Rock
A lot of Pilgrims buried here & a whole lot of history. This place gives off some seriously creepy vibes at night. I’m not one to get scared by ghosts but this place is something else.
Burial Hill Cemetery (1622) - Plymouth.ma-gov
One of my favorite places to walk and explore. You can picnic, fish, kayak, bird watch, and look at the off flow of water (I guess a waterfall of sorts.)
Ames Nowell State Park
Cute little museum and library. Idk you’d have to hit the website for what they got. I took my kids there to do some research in our Pilgrim ancestry when we first started homeschooling. They ladies loved the kids questions and gave us impromptu tour...
