One of the most comprehensive collections of furniture and objets. My favourite is the library by Pierre Chareau, unfortunately unavailable until 2025 as the wing is closed for refurbishment.

Smith & Son
Buy a crepe, stroll down the avenue and find a reclining green chair. Preferably in the shade of a tree or two. This is the perfect spot to have lunch or sit for an hour or two people watching.
Jardin Tuileries
A memoir of the author's time living in Paris. Interesting because you get the fresh eyes of a non local but the everyday habits of someone living in the area.
