I've struggled with a dry scalp my entire life. I have a good routine going that's helped a ton, but it took forever to get here! Hope you find something that works for you!
This is one of my favorite scalp sprays. It really helps with product (dry shampoo 🙋🏻♀️) build up. I have really thick hair, so I try to saturate my roots to make sure it really gets in there. I let it sit on my scalp for 10 - 15 minutes, then hea...
This mask feels so good on your scalp. It'll cool and soothe your itchy spots. What I don't like about it is that you should exfoliate your scalp (wet hair + massager) first then apply and let it sit for 10 or so minutes. I do not have the attention ...
Y'all, this is the stuff! I have a subscribe & save subscription set up on Amazon - that's how much I love it. I'll spray my dry hair with a build up remover product (Inkey, Briogio, or Deva Curl), let that sit for 10 - 15 minutes, then shower. I...
Neutrogena T/Sal Therapeutic Shampoo, 4.5 fl. oz
This is another good shampoo, but has a little less salicylic acid than the T-Sal.
Neutrogena Scalp Therapy Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
I alternate this with the Neutrogena T-Sal. I follow the same routine with the scalp spray, double wash + exfoliate with the massager.
Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, 1% Ketoconazole
There isn't anything special about this scalp massager/exfoliator - really, they're all the same. I like the handle on this one, but seriously, get whatever works for you.
HEETA Scalp Massager Hair Growth, Black
I apply this to dry hair and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes before heading to the shower to wash. I'll use this one on the days that I wash with the Nizoral since it doesn't have any salicylic acid.
Salicylic Acid Oily Scalp Treatment
I picked up this massager during one of the Sephora 30% off sales. It wasn't great for my thick hair, but I bet it would be great for someone with shorter/thinner hair.
Silicone Scalp Massager
I've just started to use this and haven't seen much of a difference yet. You apply this daily at bedtime to dry hair. I'll update once I've used it for a couple of weeks!
I use this glycolic acid serum on the days that I wash with T-Sal. Again, apply to your scalp before getting it wet and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes.
Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub
I gave this a try a while back and really liked it! I've been alternating two different Inkey List products and prefer those, but this is great too!
Clean Rinse Clarifying Scalp Serum with Niacinamide
LOVE THIS STUFF. You apply it directly to your dry scalp when it starts to feel itchy and you do not wash it out.
FAB Anti-Dandruff Scalp Treatment – 3 oz
This was difficult to rinse out of my long, thick hair but I think it would be great for shorter hair. It does come in a small size for only $20 - I recommend starting with that before you commit to the full size.
Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt - Nordstrom
This is another great scalp pre-treatment!
Scalp D(pH)ense - DevaCurl
It seems like using a blow dryer on a dry scalp would be counterproductive, but I've found that drying my roots (at least) makes a huge difference! Use whatever hair dryer you have.
Professional 2200W Ionic Salon Hair Dryer
I'm a big fan of Living Proof in general, and am excited to give this a try!
Living proof® Scalp Care Dry Scalp Treatment
I jumped on this when I got the news about a new Living Proof product! So far, I love it! It's easy to massage into your scalp and isn't too drippy.
Scalp Care Exfoliator
I wasn't sure about a scrub you can use on your body AND your scalp, but this won me over!
OUAI Scalp & Body Scrub
Unfortunately, I feel in love with this shampoo after a visit to a head spa to get a scalp treatment. It's $$$ so I'm going to look for a dupe before I run out of it.
