My kids head to camp for 2 weeks every summer. They LOVE it. This will be my daughter's 9th year at camp so we have this packing stuff DOWN.
These camp trucks are pricey, but they last forever and you can resell them and recover some of your investment. We bought my daughter's used and it's still holding up after 8 years of her camp + 5 years of the previous owner.

All camp packing lists vary. At the camp where my kids go, the cabins are not air conditioned so the kids are encouraged to bring a battery operated fan. These are the ones they use.
