Different children’s books, either read by me or former students.
I had to read this book for a class. I could not put the book down. It made me laugh and cry all at the same time. I am constantly recommending the book to others.
The Wild Robot (Vol 1) by Peter Brown
My kids loved the Magic Tree House Series, this story takes place in India.
The main characters discover an amazing dangerous exotic world.
A Crazy Day with Cobras (Magic Tree House)
I have not personally read this one in the series. I just know how much my students enjoyed reading them.
I Survived the Great Chicago Fire, 1871
Again, I did not personally read this one. Several of students did, they were able to relate to the characters.
I Survived the Nazi Invasion, 1944 (I Survived #9)
I have not read this one personally. Students have told me how much they enjoyed it. The one thing I did like about it was it had illustrations to go in the junior chapter books.
The Bailey School Kids Jr. Chapter Books Series by Marcia Thornton Jones
I love the St. Patrick Day theme of the smaller chapter book. This makes for a great read just before St. Patrick’s day.

This was so helpful in realizing saying no is healthy. Setting healthy boundaries and expectations are needed in life. If you struggle with healthy boundaries then this is the book for you.

This helped me become a better prayer warrior. I love how she has verses for beginners when learning how to pray the Word of God.
