If you want to make your own pasta, I would highly recommend grabbing the KitchenAid pasta set before moving to Costa Rica. I have only seen these at 2 stores, 3 hours away (1 to the northeast and 1 south), and they were more expensive.

I am a huge fan of KitchenAid, and I use these nesting mixing bowls regularly. The non-slip bottom works perfectly on slick countertops. I also especially enjoy how they are so easy to clean!

Let's face it, there are a LOT of bugs in Costa Rica. If you are baking bread, these bowl covers would be handy! I am adding these to my personal wish list. I use a dish towel and these would be much better!

While you can find smaller cooling racks here, it is trickier finding large cooling racks. The closest store that might have them is 3 hours away. 😬

Ever since I got the silicon baking mats, it has been a major game changer! They are oven safe AND are very easy to clean. I use this particular mat for my bread items.

I use these easy to clean, nonstick, silicon baking mats while baking pretzel bites, hamburger buns, bagels, etc. They work really well as a pan liner, which also means less of a mess to cleanup.

While this donut cutter is meant for donuts, I actually used the hole cutter for pretzel bites! I took out the removable center and made pretzel buns. I will probably be testing it out for bagels very soon. 🤔 They may end up being smaller bagels.

I absolutely LOVE Zwilling's fresh and save vacuum seal set. I use it every single day and the freezer bags are a major space saver in my deep freeze. I have not seen a system like this in Costa Rica yet.

Living in Costa Rica, I have found that I cook a LOT more than I did in the US. Having extras of the Zwilling fresh and save vacuum seal bags is a lifesaver. I use these for freezing extra loaves of bread, bagels, buns, rolls, etc.

With the humidity as well as several different bugs in Costa Rica, I highly recommend bringing down your air-tight food storage containers. Ants, we have a ton of different species of ants. I use the daylights out of these!
