Cafe Frank
My fave wine bar. A great spot that is both a wine shop and bar. Don’t miss the cacio e pepe popcorn!
Crush Pad Wines
For a fancy, bougie, meal eat here! Seriously, we go for lunch where prices are a bit less than dinner. Everything is delicious and the ambiance is outstanding

Mmmmmm, I LOVE Bodo’s bagels! Great for breakfast or lunch. It’s a Cville fave!

Always packed, we love stumbling into the whiskey jar on a late hot summer night and being blessed with foot stomping live music!

Yuuuummmmmy Mediterranean food! I love the lamb kebabs and their hummus is so good! Like Kava but more local!
Sticks Kebob Shop
Decent breakfast spot. I’m not a big breakfast eater so I’m less familiar with places to grab a good meal at the start of the day. This one work. Service can be kind of slow, but they also tend to be busy!

Virginia wines are really getting great these days. These are my personal favorites around Charlottesville
One of my fave wineries to visit in Cville! Their whites are great! Grab a picnic from nearby Simeon market and enjoy wine tasting and lunch Al fresco
Jefferson Vineyards
We love Michael Shaps! So much that we now have a private label Chard made by him in our restaurant. The drive is worth it, but for a closer visit stop by Wineworks which is in town.

Great wines and owned by UVA alum, and musical icon, Dave Matthews!
Blenheim Vineyards
Beautiful winery with delicious wines! Try the Crose! They also do polo on Sundays
King Family Vineyards
It’s a bit of a drive from town but a stunning location. Decent wine and food. Go on a weekend for fun vibes. Lots of lawn space for games while wine or beer tasting!
Mount Ida Farm
A classic Virginia winery. Wonderful wines! Try Octagon! And their restaurant has gotten rave reviews. It’s been a while since I’ve tried it so I can’t rate it first hand.

I LOVE a gourmet market. These are fantastic for provisions or a light lunch
A bit out of town, located in Crozet (ish), this gourmet market has all the goods and really great sandwiches!!
Greenwood Grocery
Perfect for grabbing a picnic before hitting the nearby wineries!
Simeon Market
Nice little cheese and wine bar with so gourmet items. Located on the downtown mall. Perfect for a little afternoon aperitif!
Tilman's - Charlottesville
Coffee!!!!
There are loads of great coffee shops in Cville. This one just happens to be a good one for me! I’d love some other recs on great coffee shops!
Grit Coffee

For late night drinks we head here. Usually this is our last stop before heading back to the hotel. Great for basic/classic cocktails. They have pool/billiards on the 2nd floor.
Miller's Downtown
We go here for the cocktails, pool, and live music. Usually another late night stop for us. Always a good time!
