This is one of my favorite restaurants in the SBC. I started following them when they served tacos at the farmer's market. They've had their restaurant for several years; it is thriving and delicious. The drinks are spectacular. They don't have any margaritas on the menu; if you're looking for very Americanized mexican food, this is not the place. Everything they serve is very authentic.

Franks is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Shreveport. Their pizza is so so so good. It is true Neapolitan pizza. The pizza menu is all delicious; I've tried almost all their pies. I love the appetizers and while I mostly want to order the pizza, their entrees are also amazing.
Frank's Pizza Napoletana
I am a big fan of Sci-port. I like going with or without my kids. They have an Imax theater that now shows movies that are also in the regular theaters. The kids can play here for several hours. It is also great for adults; there are so many fun science-themed stations that adults and kids alike find entertaining and interesting.
Sci-Port Discovery Center
The Robinson is a hidden gem here in Shreveport. It has two movie theaters showing independent, old, and new movies. You can eat and drink in the theater. The prices are all very reasonable, including candy and popcorn. The restaurant has a balcony overlooking Texas Street. During the months when the weather is comfortable, the balcony is the best place for a drink and hors devours.
Robinson Film Center
My first choice for pizza is Franks, but Flying Heart is also delicious. The beer is spectacular. My favorite is the Day Wrecker mixed with whatever fruity beer they have available.
Flying Heart Brewing & Pub
The Norton is so beautiful and serene. It is really a hidden gem in Shreveport. The kids love going here to walk around in the gardens.
