Standing on the side of a highway in the dark is terrifying. I could barely see my own hands changing that tire, and passing cars couldn't see me either. These fixed both problems fast.

The factory jack in most cars is a joke. Mine bent sideways while I was trying to lift my sedan. I replaced every single tool in my trunk after that night.

My phone was at 9% when I got the flat. I had to choose between using the flashlight or calling for help. Never again.

I sliced my palm on a piece of road debris that night and had nothing to clean it with. Blood on your hands while trying to grip a lug wrench is not the vibe.

All this stuff means nothing if it's rolling around loose in your trunk. I spent ten minutes just finding my jack that night because everything was scattered under grocery bags.

After the tire was changed, I sat in my car for 20 minutes just shaking from adrenaline and cold. Having a few comfort items would've brought me back to earth way faster.
