These are the cleansers I use for active flares & prevention.
This is a great way to keep your areas clean especially when you first notice a flare starting and during the process. Do not use daily, only when you need to.
Hibiclens Wash Products
Believe it or not, this helps strip remaining deodorant from the underarms. I use it on my intimate areas and underarms.

Can be used every day to keep down bacteria and odours. Use before deodorant, after showers or any time you need to freshen up.
T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Cleansing Cloths
A great cleanser to keep the area clean and free of bacteria.
Unscented - Pure-Castile Magic Soap
An every day shower must have. It keeps the body free of bacteria which can lead to increased flares and infections.
Dial Soap Gold
For use during the drainage phase to cleanse the area.
Walgreens Saline Wound Wash
Ointments
These are the ointments I use for active flares and prevention.
The holy grail!! This is a pretty great product I use to get my flares under control. Use a directed. I put some on a cotton swap & apply to the area, then cover with a bandage.
PRID® Drawing Salve
Any brand of this is a must during the flare & drainage phase. It definitely helps. If things worsen, seek medical attention.

Neosporin
A great ointment for flare care. There are several kinds with different oils with antibacterial properties.

A hidden gem. These don’t hurt when you remove them. Perfect for any area during the drawing process & drainage phase.
Equate Sensitive Skin Adhesive Bandages, X - Walmart
These can be used throughout the process to catch any drainage.
Gauze Pads | Walmart Canada
Use with bandages or gauze for extra protection during the drainage phase.
Sensitive Skin Tape
Use these when swimming or submerging in water. Use an oil to remove for comfort.
Nexcare Waterproof Bandages | 3M United States
For use with ointments and salves. Never use your fingers or touch the area on the opening of the tube. Dispose after use.
Q-Tips products at Target
Great to use when doing flare care yourself or helping someone. Dispose after 1 use.
Disposable Gloves in Disposables(1000+)
These will add extra cushion in your affected areas during a flare. Stock up!
