Kiwanis Park
2.3 mile walk over Lake Hickory. Super nice just built and safe for everyone. It is pretty flat and a marvelous view to take in. Fun for the family or for some extra steps in your day.
Lake Hickory Riverwalk

Waterfront park and beach! There is a ton you can do here from swim, play, fish, or walk some nearby nature trails! Fun day trip for the family.
Ramsey Creek Park
This place really takes you back in time! It is so nostalgic. If you want a fun date night idea this would be a great one. It feels like you are transported back to the 1930's.
Carolina Movie Theater
This place is so fun! Many interesting things to do. Make music, play in a little water, or climb the big sphere. It's so abstract and different from other parks and it's right in downtown so you can grab a bite to eat when your done!
Lowes Foods City Park
Great hike for a beautiful view! A couple steep inclines but over all not too bad of a hike.
Bakers Mountain Park

Great Food and Entertainment right in Downtown. They have local goods to buy inside too from sweets to sauces. This is a great place to mingle with locals and have a great time out. So much to do in this area within walking distance.

My son absolutely loves it here. So so many activities to choose from. Have some play time, go to the aquarium and touch sting rays and sharks, or visit a laboratory. This is a must see if you are in the area.
Catawba Science Center
Get all your kids energy out at this place. Fun for everyone. I love joining in with my son. From regular trampolines to pits to swing into. I love seeing all the brave kids doing backflips and stuff everywhere. Great place for a kids party.
