The Ultimate Teen Skincare Playbook-- Every phase, and skin type!
Oh honey, pull up a chair — Auntie Cass is about to hand you the Holy Scripture of Teen Skincare, and trust me, you’ll want to bookmark this like your life (or at least your teen’s face) depends on it. Because let’s be real: Teen skin has the range of a Shakespearean actor. One minute it’s dry as the Midwest in February, the next it’s shinier than a brand-new iPhone screen. Sometimes it’s sensitive, sometimes it’s oily, sometimes it’s serving main-character-breakout energy for absolutely no reason at all. And that’s why this list — yes, THIS LIST — is your new skincare Bible. Chapter One to Amen, it’s built for teens who will absolutely cycle through all four skin types before homeroom. It’s also built for you, the exhausted but determined grown-up who is just trying to prevent World War III from breaking out in your bathroom at 7:12am. Here’s the gospel: --- ✨ The Teen Skincare Bible — A Routine for Every Chaos Era Four skin types. Every step. Every price under control. Zero overwhelm. Maximum glow. No matter what your teen wakes up with — dryness, oil slick, sensitivity, or volcanic acne energy — there is a section curated just for that moment. And unlike the mythical $90 serums teens see on TikTok, these picks are Ulta-verified, dermatologist-respected, and bank-account-approved. Every step of the routine — cleansers, toners, moisturizers, treatments, and SPF — comes with: One product for sensitive skin One for dry skin One for oily skin One for acne-prone skin And all are genuinely good, teen-appropriate formulas (no retinols in the kiddie pool) This is a choose-your-own-adventure routine with built-in guardrails.

✨ Ageless, Not Invisible: An Inclusive Makeup Guide for Mature Skin (All Shades, All Budgets, All Beautiful)
Alright my radiant, seasoned beauties — gather ‘round. Aunt Cass is about to hand you the makeup list for mature skin, and no, it’s not one of those flat, outdated guides written for one skin type and two foundation shades. This one is built for everyone — every undertone, every complexion, every texture — because your beauty is bigger than any narrow “standard.” This lineup was curated with intention: ✔ Formulas that flatter mature skin, not fight it ✔ Hydration-forward textures that smooth, brighten, and lift ✔ Buildable pigments that enhance rather than settle ✔ Brands that actually make shades for all of us — not just a select few ✔ Price points that respect your wallet, whether you’re splurging or keeping it sensible Because let’s face it: mature skin isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some of us run dry, some oily, some sensitive, some combination — and some of us go through all four before lunch. But no matter what camp you fall into on any given Tuesday, these products were chosen because they respect your skin and they show up beautifully across all skin tones. The foundations here don’t crack or cling. The concealers brighten without creasing. The blushes melt into the skin — not on top of it. The lip products stay hydrating, never aging. And everything plays well with real life: laughter lines, hot flashes, sunspots, melanin magic, hormonal shifts — all of it. You are not becoming invisible. You’re becoming iconic. And this makeup routine? It’s here to amplify that glow, at any age, in any shade, on any budget. Now go forth and look like the masterpiece you already are.

Glass Skin at Any Age - Here's what you need! cover photo collage
Glass Skin at Any Age - Here's what you need!
This is going to be a doozy, but its worth it. So I have been able to achieve and maintain my glass skin by using the following products - but i use them in a specific order! If you are wanting to try new things, or take the plunge to follow my routine - buckle up baby! Skin Cycling - I use different products on different nights to make sure that my skin can be exfoliated, treated and protected. AM routine with skin cycling will always be the same - a gentle cleanser, toner, serum, vitamin C, moisturizers, and sunscreen. Night 1 will be treating your skin. I do this using a tretinoin product, but slow and steady is the way to go. You do not want to go heavy with this - you may go through a ‘purge’ or get dry flakey patches, if you rush this step. Your night one care will be a make up removal, oil cleanser, toner, serum, TREATMENT, moisturizer. Night 2 will focus on exfoliation. You will use an exfoliating cleanser - either a chemical exfoliator or a manual one, depending upon where you are in experience. Your order of operations will be: make up remover, exfoliating treatment (if you are ready for it) - either a lactic acid or AHA/BHA peel, oil cleanse, toner, serum, moisturizers. Night 3 will be recovery and protection. You have wiped the slate clean, as it were with treating and exfoliating, now its time to protect your skin barrier. Make up removal, oil cleanse, serum, moisturizers and lastly - diaper cream. Yup, you read that correctly - diaper cream. It is thick, great on delicate skin and the zinc oxide will help form a barrier on your skin to lock all your products in, while helping calm any irritations. Feel free to drop me a line or find me on socials if you start using any of my favorites - I love making new friends who are also into self-care and skin care!

Unforgettable, Not Disposable: Meaningful Experiences & Gifts for Teens cover photo collage
Unforgettable, Not Disposable: Meaningful Experiences & Gifts for Teens
Look, I get it — teens can be confusing with their clickbait consumption habits, but you know what nobody ever regrets? real experiences, emotional growth, and a little joyful self-discovery. This guide is your permission slip to stop buying more stuff that ends up in the donate pile next spring and start investing in things that actually stick — memories, skills, bold firsts, and moments that become lifelong inside jokes. This list doesn’t just say “buy things.” It says: Take them places they’ve never been Enroll them in experiences that spark creativity and confidence Give them opportunities to learn, laugh, and lead Turn ‘what should I get them?’ into ‘what will they remember forever?’ Whether it’s a beginner climbing lesson that teaches them grit, a pottery workshop that unlocks a hidden artist, a concert ticket that becomes that night they talk about for years, or a weekend camp that bonds them with new friends — these are gifts with narratives, not plastic tags. And just like a good therapist tells you not to numb out with screens, Aunt Cass says: Replace dead-end stuff with living, breathing experiences. You’ll see it in how they hold themselves, the stories they rehearse with friends, and the way they talk about “that time when…” like it matters — because it does. From day camps to foodie classes, outdoor thrills to creative studios, this guide is: ✔ Budget-flexible ✔ Skill-building ✔ Emotionally rich ✔ Camera-worthy (but not screen-dependent) ✔ And absolutely unforgettable Grab a seat, take notes, and let’s give them gifts that come alive — no charger required.
