Two novels set in and around 90s Nottingham, where family, friendship, horse racing and life's unexpected turns collide. Some early advice i received as a writer was to write about the world I knew. For me, that world included Nottingham, working in betting shops, and more than twenty years working as a professional racecourse photographer. The people, places and experiences during those years eventually found their way into fiction. These photographs and two novels tell part of that story.
