Local Places in Clear Lake and Seabrook
My home town favorite places to take the kids on a rainy day. These are definitely crowd favorites. I have lived in both Clear Lake and Seabrook.
This is a great low cost (free) rainy-day reset. We like the the indoor story times, the indoor family play area, and their many public events. This was part of the Barbra Bush library restoration project which retrofitted additional resources and to...
Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library
Our favorite place to take our kids on Sunday mornings with our friends. We had our son’s birthday party here.
Bounce N Play in Seabrook
Best for a full rainy day outing that feels bigger than just “go play somewhere.” Good for kids, visiting family, and days when you want something educational but still fun.
Seabrook: Space Center Houston | NASA
Webster & League City
Fun Places in League City and Webster that are covered and rain friendly for small and large families.
Another great library options. Libraries are seriously under valued in today’s society and they provide a lot of great resources for both adults and kids.
Helen Hall Library: League City
Awesome place to bring your kids, lots of jumping bounce house activities included.
League City, Texas - Jumping World
This place is a great spot for slightly older kids too. Arcade, food drinks, they got it all.
Cosmic Air Trampoline Park Webster Texas
You pick piece of pottery and get to paint it. It’s a small business owned by a veteran. They offer classes birthday parties and special events monthly. My daughter had a blast with her demon hunters pottery.
Prettyin'Pottery Webster
Places a Bit Further Away
Awesome options that are a bit further drive, but well worth it for the destination.
Great if you want hands on play without committing to a huge museum day. It has pretend play exhibits like a kid-sized fishing boat, pizza shop, sea turtle rescue area, tinkering, and sensory play.
Galveston Children's Museum
Great spot for kids who like planes, tools and vehicles. My son loves this place because he loves the movie cars and planes.
Lone Star Flight Museum in Ellington Airport
This place is very good, and they have extra security cameras in place to keep your kids safe. There’s alot of unique play place areas, and staggered entry times to limit over crowding.
