Chalet Village is one of the best areas to stay in. They are close to everything but still have the views. Much of this area burned down in 2016 and has been rebuilt since. Beautiful new cabins and chalets.

Mingo Falls is one of my favorite short hikes. .2 mile hike - big/long steps for first part of hike. Does not take long to get there. Beautiful waterfall especially 1-2 days after rain.
