Learn to run with your dog as a team in a dog-powered sport called Canicross. What is Canicross? Canicross, at its simplest, involves a person who is attached behind the dog, running or hiking as a team. While you're running, your dog will pull you forward, allowing you to run/hike faster than you thought possible! Canicross is a great way to build a bond with your dog while physically and mentally tiring them out at the same time! Whether you're looking to learn to run or simply run with your dog, this course is for you. If you are new to running or an avid runner and need some extra motivation why not use your dog and learn something new together? This course serves as a foundational step in learning the basics of dryland sports. The skills acquired will make it easier to transition to other dryland sports like biking, scootering, or skiing with your dog. Mastering the basics on your feet benefits both you and your dog. Our training course covers everything you need to start practicing Canicross. The course includes several shorter videos covering essential gear such as shoes, belts, and bungees. You'll also learn how to properly fit the harness, master basic commands, and manage tension on your dog's harness. Additionally, you'll explore techniques like holding your dog calmly, positioning them in the middle, and maintaining a proper line. These 5 to 10-minute videos allow you to learn at your pace and on your schedule. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!"
