#1 - bring a water bottle! Bring your favorite water bottle and make sure you're staying hydrated during your session. Most tattoo shops will have water stations for refills.

#3 - wear comfortable clothes! Wear clothes that are comfortable, easy to move in, and provide easy access to the area you're getting tattooed. That could be sweats, comfy shorts, a dress, etc.
