These are my favorites that I have used through out the years and continue to use.
For my younger babies I used this Graco car seat. I love it, it's light weight and safe for baby.

For my older kids I used the Chicco and this one is also a great infant car seat. My husband prefers the Chicco to the Graco.

I have a few of these safety gates, they are fantastic! Once your baby is crawling these gates are great for door ways and stairs. Not to mention you can expand them to fit. Just make sure that they extend to the width size that you need.
