The Pilot Kakuno has such a fun little face on the nib! Pilot is well known for meticulous attention to detail, so these pens are always great! I personally like the medium nib, but really you can’t go wrong.

I like the Lamy Safari because the grip helps you hold it in the right shape, especially if you’re new to fountain pens, and it comes in almost any color you could imagine!

This is one of my favorites because it’s a demonstrator. The clear body allows you to see the ink sloshing around. It’s fun and useful, you’ll know when you’re running low!
TWSBI Eco
Ink
Don’t forget the ink! It’s just as fun, or maybe even more fun, than the pens!
I like the Lamy Turquoise ink for the fun shading properties, but all of the Lamy inks are great!
LAMY turquoise - 50ml Bottled Fountain Pen Ink
Pilot Iroshizuku ink is known for being the highest quality ink. The bottles are beautiful, the ink is beautiful, and your writing will be beautiful!

I like Diamine ink because they’re cheap and come in a lot of colors. I linked to a set with 6 colors, my favorite being Meadow. People get into fountain pens for the pens sometimes, not realizing how fun the ink can be!

A good quality notebook will improve the whole experience!
I do most of my writing on Rhodia notebooks. I love the paper and the different colors and sizes!

I think I have more Leuchtturm notebooks than anything else combined. I love the sizes, the colors, the paper, just everything about them!

The Rhodia Dotpad comes in all different shapes and sizes. I like the wire bound ones for quick notes, but the small staple bound ones are great to carry with you in a small bag.
