Local Restaurants
The food and the ambiance. Located in a popular street, this place will not disappoint for lunch or dinner.
El Jibarito
Best Happy hour drinks. Piña colada's and some empanadas. Must try the sauces, so many to choose from but all of them are amazing.
Birra & Empanadas
Must try a Mallorca. You can do an option of just cheese or do ham and cheese. For a lunch option do a Fricasé de pollo. It is rice, beans, sweet plantains, chicken and potatoes. Add a "jugo de china" aka a orange juice , and life will never taste th...
Cafetería Mallorca
This place is not only aesthetically pleasing but it has some great food for dinner and don't even get me started on the drinks. I try a new cocktail, every time I visit this spot and it never fails to be so delicious.
Casita Miramar
Hands down the best mimosas and food I've had in this area. The bistec and the risotto dish are my favorites. Pro tip: make a reservation.
MUSA
There are two locations for this restaurant. One is in Condado and the other one is in Old San Juan. I do recommend this one because it is less crowded and they make their mojitos better tbh. You can beat $3 mojitos for Happy Hour. I usually don't ge...
La Vergüenza Condado
It's like eating at someone's abuelitas house (grandmas). True experience of food and drinks. Best food.
La Casita Blanca
Traditional local food. I tried many things from this place and each time the portions are big and so good. It gets packed in there so the wait time may be a little crazy.
Bebo's Café
While living in Puerto Rico, this place was my fav. Place to go get Mexican food. As a New Yorker this brought me back to my taco spot in Brooklyn. Atmosphere is cute and the quesadillas are my favorite. Pair it with a cold margarita.
Acapulco Taquería Mexicana
They make really cool mojito drinks, def. Ig worth it. The food is also very good. If you want to try something local try the Mamposteao.
Zajori Gastro Show
I used to live close to this spot. Bring cash, it gets busy during rush hour lunch and dinner. But trust me, it it worth it. The food is so delicious.
Bebo's BBQ
Hands down best espresso martini I've had in Puerto Rico. Food is also so delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. This place is one of my favorites.
Graziani Restaurant
Honestly this is authentic food.be prepared to wait but the wait is so worth it. Enjoy some piña coladas, trust me they are delicious.
