THE Chicago deep dish pizza! Classic pizza joint with a family friendly atmosphere.
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
Cute little breakfast place in Lincoln Park near DePaul University!
Jam 'n Honey
Upscale club/bar in Wrigleyville. Visited by famous athletes frequently.
Deuces's & The Diamond Club
Sports
Home of the 2016 World Series Champs! Such a fun piece of history and Cubs fans are awesome! The renovated putdoor area of the park has something for the whole family to enjoy. If you can, take the Red Line in the “L” and get off in the Addison stop!
Wrigley Field
Located in the southern side of the city. The White Sox have a great stadium as well. You can walk around the whole field in the stands.
Rate Field
Home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and the Chicago Bulls (NBA). Blackhawks games are so fun! If you can catch either team while in town definitely go!
United Center
Activities
Formerly known as the Sears Tower and will always be called the Sears Tower by natives. Features the Skydeck where you can stand on a glass walkout 103 stories over the city. Truly an incredible view if you can stomach heights!
Willis Tower
One of my favorite activities/tours! Experience the city and its architectural history from the Chicago River aboard the First Lady! Such a fun and unique way to explore the city, and without all the walking!
My preferred beach in the city. Quieter then North Ave but still just as much fun. Great place to enjoy the lake and relax.
Oak Street Beach
The most popular and lively beach. Volleyball and Castaways restaurant are the most popular parts of the beach! Can be very busy with young party going people but that’s part of the energetic vibe of the beach.
North Avenue Beach
Home of the Bean and so many other cool architecture and art exhibits. Frequently hosts concerts. Beautiful Lurie Garden. Great for leisure time and nights out. Check out the events calendar!
Millennium Park
Hotels
Iconic staple in Chicago for hotels. Wonderful lake views!
The Drake Hotel
Universities
My Alma Mater. The quad is a great place to hangout, for students, city residents and tourists.
DePaul University
Located in Evanston, at the north end of the city. Cute little town and a beautiful campus to take walks around and enjoy quaint living.
