Boone Park is the center for public court tennis in Jacksonville with 14 clay courts

A repurposed golf coures with baseball diamond soccer fields , frisbee golf course and a walking path around the perimeter
Ed Austin Regional Park
Lots of sidewalk trails, grass areas and pretty pond with ducks to look at.
Riverside Park
A plublic golf, course soccer fields, tennis hard courts, pickleball courts, and public swimming pool
Blue Cypress Park, Community Center & Golf Course
This park is technically in Neptune Beach, it is the center of public court pickleball with eight new pickleball courts. two tennis courts, beach volleyball courts and a playground for children

Jacksonville Beach has a long stretch of hotel, great beached, a fishing peir and beach volleyball courts

While this is titled as a park, It is mostly a beach that is drivable. There are parts that are restricted to 4 wheel drive vehicles. There is also a jetty for fishing. This was also the sight where GI Jane was filmed
Huguenot Memorial Park
A beautiful beach driftwood. Great for fishing and surfing. Really beautiful in a creepy post apocolyptic sort of way.
Boneyard Beach
This is a Floriday State Park with a massive area for camping. A lake on the premises and a playground. The beach is a destination for local surfers. especially the norhtern part of the park, Known as “The Poles”. There are also pavilions that can be reserved
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park
American Beach is located just North of Jacksonville and is one of the few beaches that allowed African-Americans on the beach

Nature Trails
This historic site is part of the National Parks Service. It is the site of Ft. Caroline settled by French Huguenots in 1564. There is reconstruction of the wooden fort built by the French and a museum as well. I have this site in the nature trail section because there are several miles of trails at 3 different locations.
Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve (U.S. National Park Service)
This area has a great paved walkway aroing a small pond the native plants labeled with a botanical description. There are also serveral miles of trails going thru the forest.
Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
A good relaxing trail with a kayak launch and picnic tables
