The rooms here are great and the amenities are awesome. They have an option for a massage on-site if you opt to get that. The breakfast is wonderful. Get the Empire Suite if you can.

The triathlon of the art world. Teams run human powered vehicles while traversing multiple types of terrain over several days. The finish line is on mainstreetferndale. A must see for memorial day weekend.

The entire town gets decorated for October. Characters in costume wander msinstreet, the scream-a-toreum opens at the scaregrounds (Fairgrounds) as a large sprawling haunted attraction. There are events all around town during the month.

From hospitality night, to the lighted tractor parade on mainstreet, to the tree lighting, December in Ferndale is a great month to visit and experience the charm of this small town. The entire town gets decorated.

Movies and shows filmed in Ferndale, Ca
Ferndale was the filming location for the town of Ceder Creek from the movie outbreak. Lots of locals were in this film and you will recognize a lot of buildings ftom the movie when you visit.
Outbreak
Ferndale was the filming location for the movie The Majestic as the town of Lawton. The film is about an actor that gets in an accident, has amnesia, then ends up in a small town where he is mistaken for local missing war hero.
