Flying to Tahiti you go to the main island and land in Papeete. To go to the island of Moorea you can take a ferry or fly Air Tahiti and have incredible views on a super short hopper flight. Incredible experience.

Snorkling in these beautiful clear waters was an incredible experience! I cannot recommend it enough. There are so many water experiences you can have there and that gorgeous water and local fish really elevate it.

Just swim around your hotel area, look down in the water as you're walking the overwater paths. You will definitely see so many fish during the day and night. No need to go on a whole snorkel adventure when you can see all the sea life right there.
If you don't want to snorkel, just look around in the water
Before you go to Moorea or after you come back to the main island to go home you should walk around the marina and do some shopping! There was beautiful local music playing and the shops had some great souvenirs to get.

We had to stay the night in this resort after we landed in Tahiti and I will say it was a gorgeous relaxing spot. They have a turtle sanctuary and spending time on the beach there watching the turtles was so incredible.
