This is the best tape ever. It has a very low sticky point which holds your paper down but never rips it as you lift it off.
Holbein Soft Tape - 1/2" x 60'
They say these are for clay sculpting but I use them to apply masking fluid. These are perfect because they do not ruin any brushes and are ready to clean.
5 Pcs Silicone Paint Brushes, Clay Carving Tools
I add a couple of drops of this to my rinse water, it helps improve flow and blending while painting with watercolor.
