These are my beach necessities for an enjoyable and low stress beach trip! We go to the beach regularly, so these are items I refuse to go to the beach without (especially with kids).
This brush is a lifesaver with all of that pesky sand! It gets is off so well, especially from chairs, toys, and the bottom of beach bags.
Sanz-Off - The Original Beach Brush! - As Seen on TV!!!
You probably already guess that this one would be on the list. It is able to be rinsed off, has holes for water and sand to go through, stays upright, and comes with waterproof pouches! What more could you ask for in a beach bag?! It's large and hold...
Bogg Bag
You don't realize how important this item is until you are trying to carry everything to the water. The big tires make going through the sand so easy! Easily holds an umbrella, toys, and multiple chairs. I refuse to go to the beach without one!
Beach Cart
This inflatable boat was a lifesaver for us! My youngest won't go past her ankles in the ocean and sometimes the waves are too much for my oldest too! We fill this boat up with water and they can play in the shade and water on those rough sea days.
Kids Inflatable Boat
Just trust me, you will more than likely get burnt at least once during your trip! This Rosewater spray is a game changer for my sunburns. It is natural and helps take the burn away within 24 hours! I don't go to the beach without it.
Heritage Rosewater Spray
A pop-up tent or shelter for the kids is a must for us. My youngest gets burnt just looking at the sun so we have to keep her in the shade as much as possible. These shelters fold up so easily and provide a good amount of shade for her.
Kids Sun Tent
Another must is a heavy duty beach umbrella! You don't want it to blow away in the wind so make sure you get a good one (read reviews)!!
Beach Umbrellas
A comfy beach chair is an absolute must! But I also want my chairs to be easy to transport and functional as well. These chairs are not only comfortable but can be worn like a backpack which make carrying them incredibly easy if you don't want to bri...
Backpack Folding Beach Chairs
If you have a child that can't swim or doesn't swim well, I would encourage you to use some sort of life jacket, puddle jumper, or other safe flotation device when playing in the ocean. The waves can be deceiving and so can the rip currents! It's alw...
Puddle Jumpers
Again, you will get burnt! The sun at the beach combined with the white sand will get you at some point so just go ahead and take aloe gel with you! I prefer the purest gel I can find that doesn't have alcohol, unnecessary chemicals/fragrance, or dye...
Aloe Vera Gel
Big kids, little kids, and even the grown kids (aka adults) love to play in the sand and build sandcastles! Make sure you bring at least a few sand toys, buckets, and shovels. Target has some really cute sets that have everything you need!
Beach Sand Toys
When the waves at the beach are calm, you are going to want to get in the water and float! You will see a wide variety of floaties in the ocean so just pick the style that you prefer (keep in mind you'll have to blow it up and carry it back and forth...
Pool Floats and Loungers
Get a beach umbrella anchor - you will thank me later! You twist it into the sand and then stick the umbrella in the center. Since the anchor/holder is deep in the sand, your umbrella will hang tight all day!
Beach Umbrella Holder
Find a good towel for laying on the sand and a good towel for drying off. You don't want to dry off with a sandy towel! Terry cloth material is perfect for drying off but they cling to sand so try to find a lighter, cotton material for a tanning towe...
Beach Towels
Usually at the beach there is a very nice breeze, but having an extra fan, especially if you are sitting in a sun shelter, makes it feel even better!
