The SD zoo is one of my FAVORITE places! The park is huge and has so many great animals to check out up close. Bring snacks and a refillable water bottle you'll want / need it.
The Safari park is another great zoo to check out beautiful animals. Most of these you will check out from a bit of a distance, but it is pretty amazing. You can take driving tours through some of the areas which is so fun!
Sea World is the place to be for fun rides and fun shows! Learn about ocean life and walk around the great park.
Lego Land is great for all ages. So many fun rides for the young and the young at heart.
Museums
USS Midway is a must stop to check out! You can take as little or as much time as you'd like.
A great place for younger and older to learn and explore together.

Little Italy in SD is a fun great little area to check out. With some great small restaurants and close to shopping is a great little spot.
If you are looking for a good downtown scene, Gaslamp is the place. Great location for bachelor / bachelorette parties, birthdays, girls weekends. Hotels shopping dinner and late night bars.
If a great outdoors hike is calling your name. This is a great place. beautiful hiking trail right along the beach.
Mission Bay is a prime location in SD. Close to good hotels and most theme parks are 10-20 minuets away. The bay is a quick 5 min drive and the beach is just down the street.
The farmers market in SD is a fun place to walk around and find great local sellers. Their choices are wide and great.
