South Shore Terrace Kitchen & Beer Garden
The definition of "something for everyone"! Nicknamed "Pets" Park, you can enjoy hiking, biking, walking, playgrounds, beers/NA options and delicious food all in one location.
Petrifying Springs Park
This is one of our favorite spots! The kids can enjoy the playground while the adults can enjoy delicious local beers, cocktails, or NA options. There is also a small public pool right next to the brewery.
Harbor Brewing Co. Lakefront Biergarten
Another great park near the highway that has something for everyone! A beer garden, multiple playgrounds, walking path and a beach! (For a fee)
Lake Andrea - Pleasant Prairie, WI
This is a great wide open park! There is a small playground, and lots of grassy area for a picnic or party. Free beach as well! Make sure you venture north of the beach by the flowers and smell the chocolate mulch 😍
Eichelman Park
This free Lake Michigan beach is always a good time! It features historic lighthouse, a snack bar with adult drinks, and fire pits for after dark! Check their Facebook page for other events.
Simmons Island Park and Beach | Kenosha, WI
Kenosha's biggest farmers market features hundreds of local vendors. There's something for everyone, even your dog (but no dogs allowed)
Kenosha HarborMarket
This inclusive playground is great for kids of all ages and abilities. It is sectioned off for kids 0-5 and 5-12. Picnic tables and bathrooms.
Pro tip- go at an "off time" otherwise it gets pretty crowded!
Kenosha Dream Playground
This playground is huge and modeled after a pirate ship! The playground itself is more suited for ages 4 and up, however there is smaller play equipment and swings close by to make this park fun for all ages.
Simmons Island Park and Beach | Kenosha, WI
Check out this hidden gem! It's a brand new playground right on beautiful Lake Michigan.
J.F. Kennedy Park
This beach is small but free, clean, and usually not busy. Toddlers and small children will have fun playing in the sand and dipping their toes in Lake Michigan. No lifeguard on duty.
Eichelman Park
You can go to this beach for a small fee and enjoy Lake Andrea. There are other water activities available for an additional fee.
Lake Andrea - Pleasant Prairie, WI
This is one of Kenosha's bigger beaches and does get busy. However there is a lot to enjoy surrounding the beach! Enjoy the Pirate Ship Playground, grilling areas, and Simmons Island snack bar.
