Anne Brontë is wrongly overshadowed by her sisters! This book had so many insane twists and turns. It is so revolutionary for it's time and so feminist of all the Brontë novels that I have read.

The main character's struggle to embrace her new life and the challenges it was bringing started to become frustrating for me, BUT the ending and the mystery of it all kept me hooked!

Glow of the Everflame

The cutest, sweetest little romcom. It had the perfect mix of emotional vulnerability, cute moments, romances, and humor.

I literally felt like I had been dropped into a fairytale in the middle of the Russian wilderness. Vasya was such a refreshing female character and I loved the exploration of political and religious themes.

So sweet and cute, but full of depth! I wish this was full novel, because I wanted more!

A little too long, but I enjoyed the world building and the growth of Diem as a character.

One of my favorite reads of the year! It is full of magic, romance, history, and being true to one's self.

A Love Song for Ricki Wilde

Storytelling at it's finest. Excellent historical fiction, with mystery mixed in. The writing was so atmospheric and detailed, so you get fully immersed. This book made me wish I was a writer and could tell stories like this.

Elise Silver does it again! She pulled off the marriage of convenience trope flawlessly!
