When we lived in Tennessee we would frequently take long weekend trips to Gatlinburg. It is such a great place for a family getaway and has something for people of all ages.

The Old Mill Restaurant
This place has DELICIOUS breakfast and they give you large servings for excellent prices! It's better than Pancake Pantry in my humble opinion.
Log Cabin Pancake House
This place is a must-try when visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.
The Apple Barn & Cider Mill
We always eat here AT LEAST once or twice when we go! Classic diner food, huge banana splits, and more!
Mel's Classic Diner
This place is trendier but delicious!

Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains, TN - Official Site
This place is a whole experience in and of itself! It is in Sevierville about 20 minutes away from Pigeon Forge. They have themed rooms, all inclusive with waterpark passes (indoor), arcade, dining options, etc.

There are a ton of places to go and things to do and see it can be a bit overwhelming when planning! Here are a few non-negotioables when we went.
Did you even go to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg if you don't go to a dinner show at Dolly's Stampede! Great for the whole family with a DELICIOUS dinner included!
Dolly Parton's Stampede
This place is so cool! Every age will enjoy it! There are so many different activities to do and we even saw an AMAZING magic show.
WonderWorks Pigeon Forge
I've never been here personally but my friends who have gone said it's a MUST!
Anakeesta
This is an excellent amusement park for the whole family. There are tame rides, a kiddie section, wild rollercoasters, waterpark, great food and great shows!
Dollywood
We go here EVERY trip! There are a lot of cute shops, restaurants, games, ropes course, a giant ferris wheel (my fave!).
The Island in Pigeon Forge
This is another non-negotiable when we visit! We always stop on our way! into and out of town to grab a sweet treat!
Chocolate Monkey
You can, and will, spend at least an hour or 2 in this store! I can barely drag my husband out when we go.
Smoky Mountain Knife Works
Rainy day? Hit up the outlet stores!
Tanger Outlets Sevierville
This is the COOLEST Christmas store ever! Open year-round and 100% worth a visit!
