I grew up here in the summers.  The beautiful light house  connected to a state park that once was a fort during war time. Great for walking, exploring the beach  at the back bay.

This is such a beautiful lighthouse and coastal view.  It has hiking around the state park and palces to picnic.  Just down the road is Mowry Breach Preserve and the bridge to Canada.   It is the most eastern  spot in Maine.
