This one requires an initial investment of buying a book. I recommend going with a paperback option. Then bedazzle away. You can do small details to make a book sparkle. Or, if you're like me, do the entire red rising cover.
I had a pack of these - variety pack. But I also liked the single color / variety of size packs to work on the details.
Craft Gemstones and Rhinestones
These came in lines of adhesive, which really helped knock out the long lines of gemstones much quicker. I highly recommend adding these to your stock.

Paint Your Own Book Tote
This one is straightforward enough. There are some really cute suggestions online for book tote ideas. Mine was “I like big books and I cannot lie”.
We ended up with hundreds of stencils, which I will use for more crafts in the future. Doesn't hurt to have a well stocked craft closet.

These were great to fill in the minor details of our stencils – and I had a lot of small stencils, so we got some good use out of them.
Fabric Markers
With the right purchase, you can get enough totes for a group of 20 or more – way more than we needed, but I was happy to have extras.
Plain Canvas Tote Bags
We used the kind of fabric paint that you can apply with a paintbrush. I much preferred this over the kind that comes out of the narrow tip.

We had a stencil for every design. LOVED being able to do this craft.

Galentine's DIY Bath Soak
If you're looking for a Galentine's Book Club idea, look no further. We landed on a self care craft. This is the bath soak recipe:
3 cups epsom salt, 1 cup sea salt, ½ cup baking soda, 1 tbsp jojoba oil, 20 drops essential oil, 3 tbsp dried flowers
You'll want to find a fragrance-free epsom salt as the base for your bath soak.
Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soak, Therapeutic, Fragrance Free, 6 lbs
Introduce some variety in the bath soak with a mix of coarse sea salt as well as the epsom salt.

The baking soda will balance everything out.

You need a carrier oil that will keep the scent at the forefront of the bath soak. Another option would be something like coconut oil.
