I read quite a spectrum of genres, but these books listed here are the ones that have spoken to me on a deeper level. Some are great entertainment, some have taught me a lot, but all of them have been well worth the read!

This is the first book in the ACOTAR series. It feels very beauty and the beast but with a twist.
A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J Maas
Book two in the ACOTAR series. I loved getting to experience more of Prythian is this one and watching the FMC grow and step into her power more.
A Court of Mist and Fury - Sarah J Maas
Book 3 of the ACOTAR series. The FMC on some spy shit and we get to see even more of Prythian and the Fae who live there!
A Court of Wings and Ruin - Sarah J Maas
Book 4 of the ACOTAR series. Love this little feel good, holiday novella with all of our favorite Fae from the series so far!
A Court of Frost and Starlight - Sarah J Maas
Book 5 of the ACOTAR series. I don't love reading about war but the way this book is written, I was constantly on the edge of my seat to find out the next strategy and who would win the battles. Also shout out to my boy Cassian! <3 I'm excited for the next book to come out!
A Court of Silver Flames - Sarah J Maas
Book 1 of the Immortals series. I'm quite fond of the FMC in this series cuz I was also a teenager when the books came out, and I really related to Ever. The magic in these books feels palpable!
Evermore - Alyson Noel
Book 2 in the Immortals series. The FMC has a hard decision of saving the man she loves or turning back time and saving her family. I love that we get to explore more of the magic realm Summerland in this book.
Blue Moon - Alyson Noel
Book 3 in the Immortals series. Ever's man gets cursed and in the process of trying to save him she falls into a love triangle with a hot surfer.
Shadowland - Alyson Noel
Book 4 in the Immortals series. The FMC continues trying to save her man, turns to dark magic, and accidentally binds herself to the (hot) bad guy!
Dark Flame - Alyson Noel
Book 5 in the Immortals series. The FMC finally is free of the bad guy, but her immortal-turned-best friend now holds a grudge and might ruin everything.
Night Star - Alyson Noel
Book 6 of the Immortals series (the final book). The FMC and her man are free from all the bad guys but they still need to save him. They risk their souls and journey to the darkest depths of the magical realm Summerland to be able to do that.
Everlasting - Alyson Noel
Book 1 in the TNAIM series. LGBTQ+ friendly series! Two besties grow up in an orphanage to be sold off to the higher bidder. Even with the distance, their love keeps them connected and fighting to reunite one day.
The Night and Its Moon - Piper CJ
Book 2 of the TNAIM series. The 2 FMC's are briefly reunited just to be ripped apart again. There's dragon fights and talks of war and the 2 FMC continue their search for each other.
The Sun and Its Shade - Piper CJ
Book 3 of the TNAIM series. This book kicks up the heat, tho it is still a slow burn. I'm only partially through it so I don't have much else to comment on for now, but I'm loving the high stakes vibe!
The Gloom Between Stars - Piper CJ
Book 4 of the TNAIM series (final book). I'm still on book 3 but I'm really excited for the big ending. This book is supposed to be extra spicy, high stakes, against all odds type beat!
The Dawn and Its Light - Piper CJ
Medical Fiction
This was my favorite book when I was about 11. It documents Pegs journey of getting polio, living in the hospital and fighting for her body, and making friends through it all.
Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio - Peg Kehret
Very emotional story about parents raising their 2 children, the youngest having Brittle Bone Syndrome. It shows the difficulties of receiving medical care, navigating relationships, and trying to give both children the lives they deserve.
Handle with Care - Jodi Picoult
Poetry
I was gifted this book by a dear friend and when I say I could not put it down, I mean it! This book had me journaling and rethinking the ways that I give and receive love and it flows so beautifully!
Aphrodite Made Me Do - Trista Mateer
Horror
I guarantee you've never read a book like this before! Some pages only have one word on them, some the words spiral into the center of the page. There's a reason this book has a cult following!
