This place not only has the cutest merchandise, but also cute AND tasty food!
Arashiyama Miffy Sakura Kitchen
Now personally, I would not do this one again because of how crowded it was. BUT if you're after good food and don't mind the crowds, this is definitely a good option.
Nishiki Market
This place was honestly, hands down, my favourite food i ate in Kyoto. The ongiri were something else, and so cheap!!
Ao Onigiri
Activity
This is the exact temple that I visited at sunset and it was so gorgeous. We got to walk around the temple and learn how to pray to the gods. It made for such a fun evening.
Kyoto Temple and Shrine Discovery Tour: Kiyomizudera, Yasaka
There are so many gardens to look at in kyoto, they are all so pretty and well worth the time. It's crazy how they can upkeep such pretty grounds!
Kyoto’s Best Gardens - Inside Kyoto
A must do in kyoto. It's crazy and actually quite surreal to look at. To do the whole walk is quite alot, but very rewarding!!
We found this to be so much fun. There's also the option of rowing your own boat too, which makes great fun!
Hozugawa River Boat Ride Experience in Kyoto - Klook Travel
We found our ryokan through klook. There's so many good places on here, we even found one with our own private onsen!

Now, some may say this is a funny recommendation, however this is actually how I got to see Mt Fuji! When booking your bullet train, check on klook what side Mt. Fuji will be on!
Shinkansen Tickets - Japan Bullet Train - Klook Travel
This is the hostel I stayed in Kyoto and it was perfect! So close to city centre, clean and with private rooms! Honestly such an enjoyable experience!
The Pocket Hotel Kyoto-Shijokarasuma - Agoda
This is another must do in Kyoto. We walked around in our kimonos and got stopped so many times by locals complimenting us! It was definitely a confidence booster!
Experience Asakusa Kimono or Yukata rental in Tokyo - Klook
Shopping
This place is so cute and full of fun. I bought so much cute rilakkuma merch here it was crazy. I didn't get to try the restaurant part- but the caramel dough ball snacks are really good!
Arashiyama Rilakkuma Sabo
As someone who absolutely loves all things cute, this is THE place to shop. They literally have everything you could ever imagine!
Kiddyland - Truly Tokyo
Now, dare I say I think this one was better than the Osaka branch? It's alot more quiet here with all the same products!
