My husband and I love to get out and enjoy good food and drinks in our area, but with a 3 and 1.5 year old it's important to us to go to spots that are kid friends and also ENJOYABLE for them as well! Here are our favorites that we've found so far!

Coffee, pastries, tacos, sandwiches and more! Their food and drinks are delish and their outside area is AMAZING for kids. Play grounds and play areas and beautiful greenery.
The Hive
Their breakfast is amazing and their outdoor patio opens up to an AWESOME playground!
Another Broken Egg Cafe
This little hidden gym is such a fun spot for adults and kids! The cutest little play area outside and the inside is just as fun with swinging chairs for adults!
Culture Club
We love Maudie's! They don't have a kid play area but the vibe is so relaxed, they have a great patio, and a kids coloring sheet menu and crayons so overall I feel like it is a great place to bring kids!
Maudie's Hacienda
Huge outdoor area, with great food and drinks! (get the fries!!)
The Little Darlin'
Super fun atmosphere and huge outdoor area! Have taken my daughters here a few times and it's always a blast!
Cosmic Pickle
Another great kid friendly place with awesome food and drinks!
Bouldin Acres
Huge outdoor space, making it a great spot for families with kids!
Moontower Saloon

Armadillo Den
A little south of Austin but worth the drive because this place is so fun!! Coffee, beer, drinks, food trucks AND a play ground!
Progress Coffee + Beer
So fun, vibes are great, huge outdoor area and overall so enjoyable and kid friendly!
South Austin Beer Garden
A little outside of Austin but one of my favorite restaurants to bring my daughters! Great food and drinks, so much outdoor seating, relaxed vibes and some days they have live music.
Hays City Store & Ice House
Love this place so much and backs up to an awesome play ground!
Waterloo Ice House - Austin
There are a few different Hat Creek's in the Austin area, all of them great and all of them with play grounds! One of my top burger places for sure.
Hat Creek Burger Company
Another great and well known spot! A little outside of Austin but extremely popular for their bbq and the vibes are top tier! Great spot to bring your kiddos!
