The Naver App is THE app to use to find which train to catch, look up restaurants and cafes, and navigate to your destination easily. Google Maps does not work very well in Seoul.

I bought the Korea Tour Card version for 4000 won and it gives you discount entry to some popular sights, and cafes etc. You can T-Money cards at convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, CU and GS25.
Get a T-Money card to pay for rides on buses, trains, taxis, and to buy items it convenience stores.
