Gelato and Icy Cold Treats
Messina is one of my favourite gelato places. They're got stores in Marrickville, Newtown, Rosebery and Surry Hills. I love trying their weekly specials plus I love their pistachio praline gelato!

I love their all natural - “no aromas or colouring agents” gelato. I love their pistachio gelato of course, and any nutty ones they have on offer. They also have a store at Bondi Beach.
Their acai bowls are very popular and there's often a queue at night.
You choose and add the yoghurt/s and toppings you want, it gets weighed and then you enjoy your treat. It's a very popular place. Also in Surry Hills.

My favourite cake places in Newtown, Rosebery, Marrickville
I love their world famous watermelon cake, pistachio zen cake, chiffon cake, and lamb shank pie. They have branches in Rosebery, Newtown, CBD and Chatswood in Sydney. Rosebery also have 2 daily salads which I love to get as welll.
I love the protein and salads here as well as the range of scrumptious cakes they have! Co-owner Andy Bowdy was recently a participant in Master Chef's 1st Dessert Masters series.
I love coming here for their pies and baguettes plus taking away a mille feuille (which sell out early) and coffee.
I love their matcha melon pan, custard puff yuzu cheesecake and matcha latte (hot or cold) a lot. I've tried almost everything in the shop and you can't go wrong!
I love all the pies here, and the carrot cake and meringue tart are delicous as well! I also usually buy a loaf of artisan bread to take home such as the walnut and currant loaf.
