Please make a reservation at the Log Cabin if you go to Galena. I had the best shish kabob and my husband enjoyed lamb. I still think about their Greek potatoes which are so good. The decor is so cool too!

This restaurant is not on the main road in Galena but is close to Grant Park and President Grant's home. Easy to find parking and was very cute inside. It is a very popular place with a good menu selection. I loved the pancakes!!

This is such a pretty outlook overlooking the Mississippi River in LaCrosse. The day we went was a little chilly but overall its worth the stop. The history behind this bluff is cool and they explain it well while walking to the overlook.

We really enjoyed our stop in Red Wing Minnesota. Of course we had to stop at the Red Wing shoe store and see the giant boot. They also have a history area on the second story which was very educational about Red Wing shoe store.

We stopped at the Red Wing Oil & Vinegar shop while in Red Wing. The owner was very nice. The hardest decision is deciding which ones to buy as there are so many great options. Definitely worth a stop!
