I played games during early labor and it helped time pass until active labor.

Could not put this higher on the list of a necessity for labor. Upbeat music Playlist was great. Our nurses commented about how great it was to have music in the room.
Portable Bluetooth Speakers
I brought lavender and copibia essential oils and they were great for early labor pain management on my back. My husband applied several times on my back during labor.
doTERRA
I used our massage gun throughout labor. My husband knew when to grab it and I had a sinus headache during the day that I used it on (only in certain areas). It was well used.

When labor got more intense we plugged in our heating pad and it was very helpful as I definitely needed it and it heated up quickly which I needed.

I used our heating throw blanket during labor, after birth and since hospitals can be cold I added it onto my bed the rest of our stay. 100% needed and used. Took up a little more space but we bring it everywhere when we stay overnight.
