I love my adult coloring book! It's a great way to relax and work on your fine motor skills. I personally like the smaller pages because my attention span is not that long for those more detailed ones!
Being a lefty, I rather use washable markers because I always get it on my hand lol but honestly the Crayola colors are perfect and the markers feel nice to color with.
Colored pencils are one of my favorite coloring mediums. They don't smudge or make a mess and you can sharpen them so you ultimately get more out of them. Crayola has a ton of different packs you can pick from if you're looking for a fresh set!
Having a good sketch book leaves you with a full page to doodle or draw anything that comes to mind. Let loose and see what you come up with! You never know what you're capable of until you full send it.
