MUST HAVE! Having the luxury to shower without assistance was so nice. I loved that this one's height could be adjusted. I recommend setting it up and testing before surgery to make sure it is ready to go. If you can't keep it in the shower, you will...
Shower Chair
MUST HAVE if you have drains. I only had one so I removed the 2nd pouch. I also only used the shower bag once. With my shower chair, I would put the bulb on my lap or in the side pocket of the shower chair.
Mastectomy Drainage Pouch & Shower Support
MUST HAVE. I would use this both in and outside of the house for the first two weeks. My back was killing me and this helped while I had to stay hunched over. I liked this three wheeled one as it doesn't look so much like one most geriatric individua...
3 Wheel Walker
Super comfortable and easy to cut.
5 Pack Lipo Foam Pads
Super comfy pjs! Go with button up or zip up everything… seriously.
Button Down Nightwear
The material is very soft and I loved having a gown in addition to my pjs with pants. Buttons were a must have and the pockets were a nice addition!
Short Sleeve Button Up V-Neck Pajama Dress
Tasty chews to help get things moving.
MiraFAST Soft Chews Blueberry Raspberry 60ct
I LOVED this pillow. I have two small dogs that like to jump up and cuddle with me in the recliner. This helped cushion my abdomen in case they got too close (I was very careful). I also loved using this in the car on day 2+.
Hysterectomy Pillow Set
I absolutely LOVED having heating pads. This one I kept on my bed and I kept a smaller one in my recliner.
Heating Pad, 12 x 24 Inch, Pink Floral Pattern
I thought I could sleep fine with just regular pillows in my bed. I ended up buying this after being home for a while. I should have bought this prior to surgery.
Orthopedic Wedge Pillow for Sleeping Set
Nice to Haves
Tasty flavor and can help reduce swelling!
Herbacil Pineapple Tea
If you have had surgery before, you know how difficult it can be to get things moving again. I loved this model because I could fold it up and put it away when not in use.
Squatty Potty Fold N Stow
I bought a neck pillow to keep at my recliner. It was nice to have if I knew I would fall asleep while watching tv (that was a given considering the pain meds knocked me out).
Neck Pillow
I bought this to help with my lymphatic home massages in addition to oil. Must be careful around incisions and talk with your surgeon about massaging.
Massage Roller Ball
I used this in addition to the roller ball.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage Oil with Arnica & Coconut
Consistently took these to help with my bruising.
Arnicare Tablets
Filled this cart with everything I would possiby need during the day. A family member would wheel it in and out of my bedroom. I would camp out in my recliner during the day and only used my bed for sleeping. It was nice to have my meds within reach ...
3-Tier Heavy Duty Metal Utility Rolling Cart
This is the silicone scar tape I bought. It will not be needed until your incisions are CLOSED.
Silicone Scar Tape
This helped with back pain!! I also used it around my hematomas, I don't know if it helped those are not.
TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator
When I wasn't wearing the silicone tape, I used this on my scars.
Mederma Advanced Scar Gel
Bought these about a month post-op for after I stopped using the binder.
Womens Tummy Control Seamless V-Neck Tank
I bought this to wear under a dress as I wasn't going to be wearing my binder. (I was 8 weeks post-op & cleared)
Compression High Waist Trainer Thigh Slimmer
Wound Care
Used this during my wound treatment. My t-junction points opened up and this is one of the items I used to help with the healing process.
Max Strength Bacitracin Zinc & Aloe Vera, 2 Pack
Used this on the blue foam for my wound treatment regimen.
Dimora Skin and Wound Cleanser
This is a bit pricey but because of my open wounds, this was a must for me!
Hydrofera Blue Bacteriostatic Foam Dressing 4x4, 10ct
Due to my open wounds, I needed bandages to hold my blue foam in place and provide protection from infection.
FRESINIDER Silicone Foam Dressing with Adhesive
Needed for wound care. This was used in between the bandage and the blue foam.
Curad Sterile Non-Adherent Pads, Pack of 100
Didn't Use or Didn't Like Products
Honestly, I didn't use this at all during my recovery. I think the first time I used it, it was months down the road. Its a nice to have for the spices located on the upper shelves!
Grabber Reacher Tool
Tried this once and I didn't like it. Figured I would share for those that may be interested and curious if I had tried one. Waste of money in my opinion.
Lipo Foam Abdominal Board
Didn't use! I bought this based off my research done online…. waste of money. I was able to sit down on my toilet with no problems. I am sure I will toss this into my outdoor gear and use it down the road, maybe?
Female Urination Device
Wasted my money on this. I drank it once and couldn't stand drinking it.
