This is a beautiful place to have a picnic in between Douglas and Casper Wyoming. It is closed during the winter for safety reasons but great in the summer. If you have a fishing license you can even fish there.
Ayres Natural Bridge - Converse County Tourism
One of my favorite places to visit in Casper to fish or just sit by the water. There are lots of boats that frequent Alcova. Great for paddle boarding or Kayaking as well.
Alcova Reservoir | Natrona County, WY
Hands down best quite place near Casper, Wyoming. There are trails that you can hike around and even cross over the top of the water fall. Fun for all ages, and some short trails for those who just want to look out over the city of Casper.
Rotary Park & Garden Creek Falls | Natrona County, WY
A historic place to see a live geyser. She goes off pretty frequently and it is very important to follow all of the rules so you don't get hurt.

Beautiful park filled with wild life, hot springs, and geysers. Need to be respectful of all the things in nature but a great place to take pictures.

Historic sites cover Wyoming. One of them being; Hells Half Acre. Besides being a great place for the Indians to hunt, this is where parts of Starship Troopers was filmed as well as other movies.
