One of our favorite hiking parks!! Fantastic trails, kayaking, horseback riding, lodging and camping. We like to come here several times a year!
Turkey Run State Park
Great hike, worth the climb!! The views from the top are spectacular!!
Original Natural Bridge Trail via Lake Side Trail, Kentucky
Beautiful views and excellent hiking trails right in the heart of Iowa. We enjoy the many trails thos Park has to offer.
Dolliver Memorial State Park
The caves and science overlooks here are majestic!!! Some of these trails are a bit challenging with lots of climbs and stairs but it is all worth it!!!
Maquoketa Caves State Park
Great beach, lots of hiking and the sound of waves!!! Great date place or family day together!!
Indiana Dunes State Park
Great places to camp!
This one is probably one of our favorite nearby camping sites!!! Great trails, beach, boating, and activities. We love this place!!
Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area
Excellent camping in Red River Gorge!!! Secluded camp sites and clean bath house!!
Koomer Ridge Campground
Best of both!
This one was a great find!! It has amazing trails, great camping area right on the water, and fun things to do!!!
