🌅Best Sunset Spots in Bali
Arrive 45–60 minutes before sunset for the best golden-hour light and a good viewing spot. Bali sunsets are generally around 6:00–6:30 PM, depending on the season.
This is the sunset I'd put at the top of every Bali itinerary. Watching the sun disappear behind the Indian Ocean from a 70-meter cliff is already incredible, and the Kecak Fire Dance makes the whole experience even more unforgettable.
Uluwatu Temple
The temple silhouette against the orange sky is exactly the kind of view people picture when they think of Bali. I'd arrive about an hour before sunset so you can find a great viewpoint before it gets crowded.
Tanah Lot
I love this spot because you get front-row seats to both the sunset and surfers riding one of Bali's most famous waves. It's the kind of place where it's easy to stay long after the sun goes down.
Single Fin
If I wanted a quieter sunset without beach club crowds, this is where I'd go. The dramatic cliffs and endless ocean make it one of Uluwatu's best hidden gems.
Karang Boma Cliff
This feels like one of those places made specifically for golden hour. The cliffside infinity pool, cocktails, and ocean view create one of my favorite sunset dinner settings in Bali.
El Kabron
This is the sunset I'd choose if I just wanted to sit on a bean bag with a drink in hand. The atmosphere stays lively even after the sky turns dark, which makes it easy to spend the whole evening here.
Seminyak Beach
I like how this place balances great food, music, and a beautiful oceanfront sunset. It's perfect if you want something more relaxed than a full-on party beach club.
Potato Head Beach Club
If you're looking for the biggest sunset atmosphere in Bali, this is hard to beat. Watching the sky change colors from the beachfront pool feels like the perfect way to end the day.
FINNS Beach Club
This is where I'd go for a slower evening. Fresh seafood served right on the sand while the sun sets over the ocean is one of those classic Bali experiences that never gets old.
Jimbaran Beach
The combination of white limestone cliffs and crystal-clear water makes this sunset feel different from anywhere else in Bali. I especially love how the cliffs glow during golden hour.
Melasti Beach
Classic Bali Sunset I’d recommend Kuta Beach if you want an easy, classic Bali sunset without overthinking the plan. The wide stretch of sand gives you plenty of space to watch the sun go down, and the lively atmosphere makes it easy to continue your...
Kuta Beach
Laid-Back Sunset Vibes. This is one of my favorite spots for a relaxed sunset in Seminyak. I love the casual beach atmosphere, colorful bean bags, and the option to grab a drink while watching the sky change colors.
Double Six Beach
Boho Beach Club Sunset. I’d pick La Brisa when I want my sunset to come with a great atmosphere. The boho-style setting, beachfront location, and relaxed vibe make it an easy place to spend the entire afternoon and stay through golden hour.
La Brisa Bali
Sunset Drinks & Social Vibes. This is the kind of place I’d choose when I want to watch the sunset without leaving the beach-club atmosphere. The oceanfront setting, pool, drinks, and laid-back vibe make golden hour feel even better here.
