My favorite makeup and hair care products that work well and are priced well too. I really am reluctant to shell out on beauty products (see my other list for the exceptions worth the heftier price tag), but I do like to test out a lot of reasonably priced items. Everything on this list I use and replace regularly. I have dark brown hair (thanks to the dye), fair skin, curly-ish hair that I tend to straighten.

It's rare that I splurge on beauty products but these are a few that live up to the hype and are worth every penny. Tried and true by me - a notoriously picky and particular consumer. I have curly-ish hair that never quite works well curly despite my best attemps. I also have medium to oily pale-ish skin, prone to breakouts and stray hairs.

These are the products I'm going to pack pretty much every time I travel. Some are better suited for air travel, some better for road trips and I can vouch for all of them.

These are actual articles of clothing that I own, wear and love - items that I've recommended wholeheartedly to friends and family. In the rare case that it's just something on my wish list, I'll note it. For reference I'm average height with an athletic build - a work from home mom who's practical and doesn't like to shell out too much on clothing but I do enjoy the rare splurge-ish item here and there.

I may not love to cook, but I do love these tools and gadgets that make time in the kitchen much more bearable. These are all products I own and use.
