Create a Thanksgiving that's stylish and anything but stuffy

These are products we've used for years and can truly vouch for as worth your dollars for the school year. Everything on this list is a product that I have used or my kids use and would totally buy again for school, sports, camps, etc.

My favorite makeup and hair care products that work well and are priced well too. I really am reluctant to shell out on beauty products (see my other list for the exceptions worth the heftier price tag), but I do like to test out a lot of reasonably priced items. Everything on this list I use and replace regularly. I have dark brown hair (thanks to the dye), fair skin, curly-ish hair that I tend to straighten.

Cooking isn't something I really love to do (although I don't mind baking), but these are tools and gadgets I've aquired over the years that make me time in the kitchen more tolerable. Everything here is something I use regularly as someone who primarily eats meals at home and feeds a small family.

These are the products I'm going to pack pretty much every time I travel. Some are better suited for air travel, some better for road trips and I can vouch for all of them. A couple of trips to Europe and lots of domestic travel and these are all items I tell friends and family they should get.

It's rare that I splurge on beauty products but these are a few that live up to the hype and are worth every penny. Tried and true by me - a notoriously picky and particular consumer. I have curly-ish hair that never quite works well curly despite my best attemps. I also have medium to oily pale-ish skin, prone to breakouts and stray hairs.

Attention sports fans - after many years on the sidelines with athletes playing various sports, these are my tried and true whole-hearted recommendations for parents, athletes and other spectators. Soccer moms, hockey moms, track moms and more - all great goods for you!
