My son loves Demon Slayer. I know it doesn't sound too tween friendly--but it actually has a good story line. It does center around the idea of "demons" so make sure your child understands that fantasy stories are NOT REAL!

Great list of tween recommended animes! Animes have a lot of adult themes, despite being a cartoon, so we are very careful what we allow our 12 year old to watch. We want him to enjoy this genre but keep him safe as well.
