Post Weight Loss MUST HAVES!
Protein, Supplements, and Everything else! In April of 2023 I finally let myself have Gastric Weight Loss Surgery. I was always afraid that people would consider any loss the “easy way out”. Well, I am here to tell you that weight loss surgery is NOT THE EASY WAY OUT! But it can be very effective for some people. It was for me! After a year and a half I have lost 115lbs. These are the products that I wish I had known about from the begining!
Protein Supplements--Bars, Shakes, and Snacks.
I've personally tried ALL OF THESE and can testify from my own experience that they actually do taste good! I won't lie to you and tell you they taste exactly like what they are trying to be--but they are good and oh so close! After weight loss surgery, you'll be shocked how little you can eat so it's important to make sure every bite counts.
These literally taste like candy bars. These are my "Sweet Treat". They feel like a cheat day, but they're loaded with protein and NO added sugar! They are 100% worth the price!
Do you like a Charleston Chew? Or just chewy caramel? You won't believe this has 16 grams of protein and no added sugar. Do NOT waste time on the cheapest protein bars--you will waste money over the long run!

I won't lie and tell you these taste just like cake--but they are pretty close. They are the PERFECT road trip food to let you feel snacky while not blowing your nutritional goals.
This is the only think! brand bar I recommend...this flavor only! I know it sounds like a sales pitch--but I feel like I'm cheating when I eat these.

I drink one of these prior to every early morning workout. I find that since losing so much weight I need a little something before working out. Bonus--this has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee!

Craving a Kit Kat? Or those sugar wafer cookies we all loved as kids? These are great! Love the texture and the flavor is really good, especially once you're use to protein bars.

Hear me out--these are only OK on their own. But is your family having nacho night? Pour some queso and taco meat on this and BAM--you won't miss the regular chips at all!! Take these to Mexican restaurants and go to town on that queso with this :...
My whole family uses these now. They can't tell the difference. And if you need a fast snack, but don't want to have to think hard...slap a slice of cheese and microwave it for a redneck quesadilla -- you're welcome hahahah
I never thought I’d find a protein bar as good as barebells but this is amazing! It’s just as good, if not a tiny bit better!
Supplements
Consult your doctor, but these are the ones I used and had a lot of success with.
Ate a bit too much too fast? Pop a couple of these. They really helped me and now that I'm use to what my body can handle, I rarely need them anymore
Your doctor may recommend a dissolvable vitamin during that first month of your stomach healing. I used these and didn't have a problem at all with the taste.
I used these once I moved past the dissolvable pill stage... now that I'm a year and a half out, I just use a regular multi-vitamin.
I use these on days I know I'll be busy. Make sure to take them before lunch. Don't take them at night unless you want to pull an all-nighter!
Yes--you may experience hair loss after surgery. But that's with ANY weight loss. I took these for the first year. I have very thick hair, but I still lost a lot...but guess what? It allllll grew back! You are NOT going to go bald!
I did not use this, but a friend of mine who has surgery as well did and she said it helped her through that time period where she was losing hair. But if you keep up with your vitamins, your hair loss will not be forever. DON'T LET PEOPLE FEAR MON...

Getting in your water after surgery is crucial. Take it easy for the first couple of weeks but after that you need to be sipping all day long. Your doctor may tell you that you can't use a straw...mine said I could try and if it didn't give me gas,...
This is the exact bottle I use for the gym. Love the handle I can grab in between sets.
I'm a sucker for a Yeti because they are truly dishwasher safe. I've never had one get messed up in the dishwasher (I can't say that for all brands that claim to be dishwasher safe).
